    World Heart Day 2025

    Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences celebrated World Heart Day 2025 with a series of impactful programs aimed at spreading awareness on heart health and the importance of preventive care.
    The event was inaugurated by Executive Director Lt. General Dr. Ajith Nilakantan PVSM, Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences, who emphasized the need for vigilance in cardiac care and greater attention to community health.
    A highlight of the day was the launch of the new Cardiology Health Check-up Package, designed to ensure early detection and effective management of heart diseases. As part of the launch, Dr. Jain (Cardiologist) and Dr. Sreenath (Cardiologist) exchanged a symbolic token, which was handed over to Executive Director Lt. General Dr. Ajith Nilakantan PVSM.
    Dr. Sreenath led an awareness session on the symptoms of heart disease and precautionary measures.
    Ms. Aleena conducted a session on preventive strategies, followed by an engaging Q&A session where the public actively participated.
    The program concluded with a gift distribution ceremony.
    For public benefit, free BP checks, random blood sugar (GRBS) tests, and pulse monitoring were organized.
    Additionally, Yoga Therapist and Yoga Trainer Ms. Lakshmi Devi conducted a special yoga session for staff, focusing on heart health and mental well-being.
    The World Heart Day 2025 celebrations at Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences turned into a truly memorable event, uniting medical professionals, staff, and the community in promoting heart health and preventive care.
