Departmental Activities

School Visits

School visits consist of learning disability screening and educating parents and teachers about the disability and awareness classes about school related problems. Awareness classes about various addictions and to avoid such addictions.

Vocational Rehabilitation

Arranging sufficient job opportunities for our symptomatically better patients for a livelihood, we keep in contact with such companies and firms for this purpose.

Post Flood Medical Camps and Psychological Rehabilitation

• General medical camp in the island Kurumba Thuruth
• General medical survey and assessment of psychological needs post flood at VP Thuruth
• Community reintegration post disaster with support from Thalassery Brennen School at Vavakkad

Poor patient fund

Department owns a poor patient fund with the help of our well-wishers and friends. We give financial assistance for our poor patients to purchase their medicine.
