  • To address the public health issues like COPD and Covid-19: To ensure cost-effective treatment, ensure good quality of life and occupational rehabilitation.
  • To support the Government in the management of victims of disasters.
  • To promote research among staff and students to the advantage of patient management and public health

  • Pleural Procedures: pleural fluid tapping, Intercostal tube Insertion, Pig tail catheter insertion, Pleurodesis
  • CT/ultrasound guided lung mass FNAC/biopsy.
  • Bronchial artery embolisation

  • * Bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL)
    * Diagnosis of Tuberculosis and other pulmonary infections
    * Diagnostic work up of non resolving pneumonia, unexplained cough ,collapse.
    * Endobronchial and Transbronchial lung biopsy (TBLB)
    * Transbronchial needle aspiration(TBNA)
