World Cancer Day: Sree Narayana College of Nursing (SNCON) leads Awareness Initiative
On 10th February 2026, in connection with World Cancer Day, the Sree Narayana College of Nursing (SNCON) organized a Cancer Awareness Program at the hospital reception area. The session was conducted to educate patients and the general public on the importance of early detection and cancer prevention.
The awareness talk was led by Dr. Jiss Joy, Consultant – Medical Oncologist, who provided valuable insights into common cancer symptoms, available screening methods, and essential preventive measures.
The program also featured an engaging role play presented by nursing students, effectively conveying key awareness messages in an interactive manner.
The initiative received positive appreciation from the public, highlighting the impact and relevance of the awareness program.
