Prostate, Women Cancer and Vision Screening Camps at North Paravoor (March 8, 2026)
A Prostate & Women Cancer Screening and Vision Screening Camp on 08 March 2026 at Kaitharam NSS Hall, North Paravoor. The camps were organized to promote early detection and awareness of prostate cancer, women’s cancers, and vision-related issues. The screening and consultations were led by Dr. Jiss Joy, Consultant, Department of Medical Oncology, Dr. Sajitha Surendran, Consultant Gynecologic Oncologist, and Dr. Navya Sara Zacharia, Assistant Professor (MBBS, MS Ophthalmology). The medical team conducted examinations, provided expert consultations, and educated participants on preventive care and the importance of regular health screenings. A good number of local residents attended the camps and benefited from the free medical check-ups and professional advice, contributing to increased health awareness in the community
