Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-COV-2 virus.

Majority of people experience mild to moderate respiratory illness rarely requiring special treatment. Whereas, some can develop severe pneumonia needing hospitalisation and intensive critical care management. Those people at risk for severe disease include oldage, underlying medical condition like cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, chronic respiratory diseases or malignancy.
