Our department has been providing high quality health care since years. To ensure smooth functioning of the department, multiple units have been created. Each unit is headed by a senior faculty. Each unit receives full support from all colleagues. In addition to carrying out patient care, our department is involved in teaching MBBS and postgraduate students. In 2020, department was upgraded as a PG training center by the Medical Council of India (National Medical Commision)
The department of General Medicine provides daily OPD, IP, and emergency services

We have been providing comprehensive Covid care with support from the department of Pulmonology and other clinical departments where required. We are actively involved in teaching both MBBS and PG students. Our activities include conducting regular lectures, holding bedside teachings, encouraging students’ participation in seminars, CPCs, Journal clubs, skill labs and medical camps. Our department provides comprehensive diabetic care for the patients including diabetic foot care, diabetic retinopathy and neuropathy evaluation.
Department conducts health camps, diabetic clinic, CMEs and Liver stiffness camps. We conducted several social awareness programmes inside and outside the hospital. Our faculties have published articles in indexed Journals (National & International)
Outpatient clinic functions on all days except Sundays.
We have a 150-bedded general ward and have private wards too. We have a 14 -bedded Medical ICU and 8 bed in ICCU with advanced monitoring and ventilator facilities managed by senior faculty members with a team of residents. Separate Covid Ward too.
