The main objectives of the PMR unit are:-

• Primary prevention of disabilities.
• Screening, early identification & comprehensive management of disabilities.
• Provision of conventional & interventional Physiatry procedures.
• Cross consultation services for better/holistic treatment of patients.
• Provision of health education & counselling services, as appropriate.
• Community based rehabilitation services.
• To provide a barrier free environment for easy access to non ambulant, semi-ambulant, crucially disabled & elderly patients.
