    International Day Against Drug Abuse Celebration
    On June 26, 2025, at 10 am,
    SNIMS organized an awareness program and flash mob to declare our campus a drug-free zone. The event, themed “The evidence is clear: Invest in Prevention,” was held in front of the hospital block reception.

    Key Highlights
    – Faculty, staff, DMLT & DOTAT students, and MBBS students attended the program.
    – Students Union, led by Mr. Sagar, coordinated the event with Ms. Sneha Sara Sam as the Master of Ceremonies.
    – Dr. Thomas Jerry, Vice Principal, inaugurated the ceremony, while Dr. Manjusha K, Deputy Medical Superintendent, delivered a felicitation.
    – MBBS students presented an engaging flash mob, followed by an oath against drugs led by College Administrator, Ms. Bindu.
    – Mr. Vinayak, an MBBS student, recited a powerful slogan against drugs.
    – Dr. Gopika , a PG student,Psychiatry department conducted an awareness class.

    Objective
    The event aimed to promote a strict zero-tolerance policy towards narcotics and raise awareness about the importance of prevention.

    By organizing this event SNIMS reaffirmed its commitment to creating a healthy and safe environment for its students and staff.
