The event was formally inaugurated by the Principal of SNIMS, highlighting the critical role of minimal access surgery in modern clinical practice. Dr. Prakash, Lead Consultant in GI and HPB Surgery at Aster Medcity, Kochi, served as the distinguished guest faculty, sharing his expertise through live operative demonstrations and interactive training.
Thirteen surgeons from across the region participated in the intensive two-day program, which featured 11 surgical procedures, including advanced laparoscopic surgeries, stapler-assisted GI procedures, and laser interventions for proctological conditions.
