Thyroid Awareness Class and Screening Program

On 19 January 2026, the Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences conducted a Thyroid Awareness Class and Screening Program for the staff of Christ Raj High School, Kunnukara, focusing on the symptoms and the importance of early detection of thyroid disorders.
The session was led by Professor Dr. Joseph V. Francis (HOD, General Surgery) and Dr. Innu Ghosh M. A. (Senior Resident), who facilitated an engaging and interactive discussion with the participants.
After the interaction session, a thyroid screening was conducted, and many staff members availed the opportunity to get checked for possible thyroid issues, ensuring timely identification and awareness of thyroid health.
