World Hemophilia Day

Sree Narayana Medical College celebrated World Hemophilia Day on April 17th. Medical students presented a flash mob. Vice Principal Dr. R. V. Prasad, Medical Director Dr.Haroon S. Pillay, Dr. Navya, HoD, Dept. of Pathology and Blood Bank Medical Officer Dr. Annu talked about hemophilia. Also reminded that the blood bank has the necessary blood components for the treatment of all diseases. Then the doctors of the pathology department Dr. Anu, Dr. Dileep and Dr. Chitra visited Aluva IMA Blood Bank with students and also presented a flash mob. IMA blood bank officer, Dr. Vijayakumar, Aluva Taluk Hospital RMO Dr. Soorya and Hemophilia Treatment Center Medical Officer Dr. Revathy also participated in the program and spoke to the students about hemophilia treatment. Students also interacted with hemophilia patients.
